A psychological murder mystery about crime,love and betrayal… The film is based on a true event, the most notorious case of stark violence that took place since November 1989. They were the so-called Orlik Murders perpetrated during the first half of the 1990s, where the victims were found at the bottom of the Orlik dam lake in Bohemia. The main protagonists of the film are three business partners who are after big money and perpetrate four premeditated murders. Divers brought up the bodies of two out of the four victims from the lake. The third victim died after being delivered a parcel that exploded, and the last victim was shot right there in the house… It was actually a much more extensive case, but in his film the director mainly aims at unraveling the murderers’ motives. The story makes a thrilling and exciting film and also uncovers a broader range of connected facts. The events that became the story of this film are fascinating and shocking. They show exceptional cruelty and an absolute absence of any moral values on the part of the murderers.
