The whimsical story of Malvína, a disobedient fairy who is banished from Queen Harabundies community after she pulls as especially dirty trick. A young lieutenant named Arthur finds the forlorn Malvína, and the two of them seem to have more than just something in common. But Arthurs mother refuses to have her in the house, so the lieutenant asks his kindly old uncle, Prof. Christopher, if hell put the pretty fairy up and put up with her. Malvína continues to use her magic powers whenever she feels wronged, or when she wishes to please or help her new friends. She creates so much confusion, however, that things get completely out of hand. But love is the strongest magic of all, something even the fairy queen must respect when conjuring up a curse.
