Catalogue of Czech Television Programmes
A docudrama about the first lady, who significantly influenced the opinions of the first Czechoslovak President Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk. The subject of this film is the dramatic story of the fateful meeting between two strong personalities that fundamentally impact the course of Czech history: Charlotte Masaryk and TGM. It would only be a slight exaggeration to say that, without Charlotte, the Czechoslovak Republic would never have been formed. With light humour, the movie recollects the currently forgotten ethical tenets of Charlotte and TGM's lives: loyalty, honesty, the binding nature of a handshake, and of course "do not be afraid and do not steal".
