Catalogue of Czech Television Programmes
The documentary film maps a forgotten chapter of Czech history unknown to the vast majority of the Europeans. It explains the background and meaning of the Nazi-ordered and organized „re-education“ of the Czech youth under the leadership of the so-called: Curatorium for the Education of Youth in Bohemia and Moravia. Altough the theme of youth „re-education“ in the Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia is central in the film, the documentary helps the viewer to gain insight into the complexity of various shades of social life in a totalitarian systém which knows more than just black and white colors of collaboration, resistence or pragmatic survival.
