A music documentary about the second part of the famous Magic Flute, this time from the workshop of Johann Wolfgang Goethe and the Czech minimalist composer Vít Zouhar. When Mozart’s Magic Flute set out on a tour of the European opera houses after its composer’s death, in Weimar J.W. Goethe decided to write a libretto to the second part of the opera, but he did not find a composer for it in his time. The libretto was not set to music for two hundred years. The documentary follows this little known opera story as well as the well-known one about Pamin, Tamin and Papageno.
