A story without narration for younger kids that recounts the friendship between Mr. Waterman and a little carp. Waterman sadly misses the trumpet he lost when his ship sank far out at sea. The carp, who miraculously gains the ability to fly, feels sorry for Mr. Waterman and sets out with a flock of migrating birds in search of the precious trumpet. Overcoming all the dangers he meets along the way, the incredible little carp finally manages to bring the trumpet back to his joyous new friend.
