Catalogue of Czech Television Programmes
A puppet version of the classic Czech fairy tale about Plaváček whose fairy godmothers predestined him to marry a Princess. The King tries to get rid of him twice, but there is no way of breaking the godmothers' spell. As a punishment, the furious King orders Plaváček to bring back three golden hairs belonging to Old Man Know-All. The long and difficult journey is a test to see if Plaváček can overcome various dangers and return to become King.
