A poor farmer had a brown horse but the man's arrogant master caused the horse to die. Česílko the water sprite magically transforms a big fish into a new horse for the sad man. And so Šejtroček becomes a teamster and with his magic horse helps out all those in need. He meets all kinds of fairy tale folk and even a water nymph whom he marries and changes into a woman.
