The Czech actor Jindřich Plachta wrote a charming little book about an enchanting puppy who turns out not to be a puppy at all but a young giraffe. This strange creature, whom they find in the street is given the name Amina, and Amina brings about many a funny situation in Counsellor Pučálkas family. Rosie makes a lasting pact of friendship with Amina and sees to it that the swiftly growing giraffe becomes a fully-fledged family member.
