The Mud Pond on the outskirts of a small town is the home of two male frogs, called Signore and Amigo. The toad Signore is a rather passive, good-natured fellow who wears his heart on his sleeve and takes things as they come, while the edible frog Amigo is livelier, chatty, but sometimes also cheeky. He tries to give the impression of a well-travelled know-all (which is not quite the case), never sits still and grumbles at everything, though in actual fact he couldn’t say boo to a goose ... We all have our secret dreams, haven’t we, and our two frog friends are no exception. Is there someone who can make them come true? Of course there is – Charlie, the fairy-tale goldfish! Together they experience many a surprise and adventure, and have good fun.
