The third episode of the three-part series Prowlers and Protectors. Once again, we meet Vera Podlipná, nurse at the psychiatric department. After her own bitter experience with an organized group of crooks who, in the first part of the series (Born Without Childbirth), tried to defraud her of her property through a fictitious son, she is not indifferent to the fates of other people. And once again, the mysterious Dr. Zahálka appears on the scene, this time approaching Vera to ask her for help with the problem of Milan, the son of an acquaintance of his. Milan lives with his mother and has psychical troubles. He works at the airport, and tries at all costs to attract the attention of his colleague Irene. He fails, and attempts a suicide. But what´s the real state of affairs? Who makes whose life a misery? This is what Vera Podlipná sets to find out, and as in both preceding cases (episodes Born Without Childbirth and Cruel Infidelity), discovers to her surprise that an important role is again played by Dr. Zahálka.
