A loose follow-up of Vermin, a film with which this crime scenario shares the protagonists on the detective side. The central figure of the story is a serial killer who murders businessmen whom he has lured to his “luxury farm” under the pretext of its sale. But one of the murders sticks out among the others, though it does resemble them in some respects. The chief suspect is the widow of the victim, who at the same time appears in the role of amateur investigator. She decides to go it alone and find the murderer, whom - in her opinion - the police are unable to catch. Who, then, is the real perpetrator of this shrewdly conceived crime? It is not just a detective story with a question mark, but also a poignant criticism of today´s thoughtless pursuit of money and material estates, and other ailments of the present-day real world.
