Violence in the home, that is a subject spoken of ever more frequently. Physical and mental cruelty in the setting where one should feel absolutely safe, at home within the family circle, can result in tragedy given the general indifference that mankind suffers from these days. That is what happened in the case of Olga, an intelligent and highly educated woman who was married at 27 to a man twenty years older and of a lower educational level. During the years when she was a home-maker, looked after three children and was an obedient wife, everything seemed to be all right. But in due course Olga wanted to apply her education and abilities by finding a job outside the home. This led to a deep crisis in her marriage, a crisis she was incapable of resolving.
