A television comedy set in present times about the change in the lifestyle of a young family when a baby is born. The period of “happy motherhood” when the new mummies spend all their time changing the baby, washing and breast-feeding and putting to sleep their darling – and her family and friends consider all this to be absolutely natural and wonderful, in actual fact gives the young woman a really hard time. The writer describes wittily what this period can do to the mother and those around her, in this case to her husband and his career.
