The heroes and heroines of Dietls famous serial are back, let us see how life has treated them. This serial follows up on the two previous serials about doctors and their patients, produced twenty years ago. The present story is based on the passing of time and the natural aging of the characters, the changed political and social conditions in the Czech Republic. The children born in the first two serials have grown up. The main characters take stock of their lives, come to terms with the generation problem, with latent racism, with crises brought about by new phenomena of the post-communist economy. The members of the young generation seek their right partners in love and their right niches in life.
